A well-known Mossend doctor aims to improve his golf handicap - having retired after 30 years.

Dr David Park, who has newly retired from the Bruce Medical Centre in Mossend, also plans to travel and spend more time with his family. Colleague Dr Stephen Gaddis said: “He has always been very popular with patients for his caring attitude, his willingness to help where he could and for his great sense of humour. All doctors, staff and patients wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.”
