Bunting out as Bunty celebrates her special day

SPECIAL OCCASION . . . Motherwell woman Bunty Robb recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

The occasion was extra special for Bunty as she was presented with a telegram from The Queen by the Rev Stuart Dunn, retired minister of Crosshill Parish Church.

Bunty was born in Crosshill Place, Windmillhill Street on May 11, 1911, and in the 1930s trained as a nurse and midwife in Glasgow.
