Bellshill Academy pupils’ exam success

SENIOR students at Bellshill Academy did themselves and the school proud with their performance in this year’s SQA examinations.

The Academy again had improved results in S4, S5 and S6 and celebrated the achievements of students at assemblies throughout the week.

Top performers achieved record results in gaining eight credit awards in S4 and five Higher awards in S5. S6 students also performed very well with record results for the Academy in five Highers and Advanced Highers.

Top S5 student was Luke Boyle who achieved five A passes at Higher level and three S4 students - Sarah Cairney, Rachael Kidd and Josh Robertson, achieved eight Credit 1 awards.
