Dalziel High has successfully passed the recertification process to maintain its Customer Service Excellence Award status.
The assessment was undertaken in two stages - a paper submission of evidence required to meet the criteria and an onsite assessment.
The evidence was obtained from the review of the documentation and interviews with staff, pupils and parents and during the assessment process the criteria were scored on a four band scale - Compliant Plus, Compliant, Partial Compliant and Non Compliant.
Areas of good practice identified from the assessment include an increase in pupil attainment, that the school has high expectations, is held in high esteem and has ensured a full range of pupils are catered for and that there was strong and conclusive evidence of a team working ethos.
Headteacher Robert Birch said: “I am very proud of this latest award for our school.
“It is good to see the good work being done in the school recognised in this way.”
