Asda Motherwell is celebrating after raising an impressive £1,152 for the Tickled Pink campaign to help breast cancer charities.

A variety of events for customers and colleagues took place throughout October, including a gruelling bike challenge, where 12 colleagues furiously peddled their hearts out for 20 minutes each.

Other fundraising activities included a tombola, bucket collections and staff dress down days.

Tickled Pink contributes to face-to-face local support services and information available for anyone affected by breast cancer when they need it most, as well as funding life-saving research.

Community champion Bernadette Hart said: “The support we’ve had from customers is fantastic.

“The Motherwell store couldn’t be happier with the incredible contribution our customers and colleagues have donated to this worthy cause.

“Asda really is Proud to be Pink!”
