Fitness at the Boathouse in Strathclyde Park are supporting Maggie’s Lanarkshire by virtually travelling around all of the charity’s 11 UK centres and they want you to join them.

Many Miles for Maggie’s will begin on Friday, June 3, and over 24 hours participants will row, cycle and run 992 miles from Maggie’s in Inverness to the centre in Swansea ‘calling’ at all points in between - without leaving your local gym.

Jo Ramsay, from Fitness at the Boathouse, said: “We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile charity. We’re asking people to get in touch if they would like to get involved – you can sign up for one or more 15 minute slots and you can choose the type of machine that you would like to complete your part of the challenge on.”

The challenge is open to everyone aged 12 years and over and on signing up for the event you will be given free access to the gym two weeks before the event.
