Anton meets his Parkhead heroes

CELTIC-daft Carfin youngster Anton McManus was the envy of his friends last week as he took centre stage at a Legends’ match.

The game, between Celtic and Manchester United Legends at Celtic Park last Tuesday night, had originally been organised as a tribute to former CFC player John Kennedy, from Cleland.

However, it evolved into a fundraiser for Oxfam Scotland, and lucky Anton (9) was asked to be one of the mascots.
