A group of fundraisers climbed the Schiehallion mountain in Perth, then donated over £5,000 to its namesake ward at Yorkhill Children’s Hospital.

The team was led by Muirhouse couple Margo and Kevin McCluskey and their son Kieran. It was organised in memory of their daughter, Louise, who passed away 10 years ago after a battle with leukaemia.

Margo, Kevin and Kieran would like to thank the 30 friends and relatives who climbed with them and to all who helped raise £5,130.

After their endeavours the family visited Yorkhill where they presented a cheque to Sharon Thomas, who was Louise’s primary care nurse, and Sister Jean Kirk.
