JOIN Forestry Commission Scotland on the last seasonal guided walk of the year at Bothwell Park on Saturday from 1.30-3pm, to learn about how the plants, trees and animals have changed for winter.
Kenny McWilliams, community ranger for Bothwell Park, said: “This is the last of our four seasonal walks this year which explore the changing seasons of the environment.
“The first three were a great success and the autumn walk was really stunning. We now want to highlight the surprising amount of life in the beautifully crisp and frosty winter woodland.
“The walk is a great way for adults and children alike to learn more about the changes in the animal and plant life around you. Wrap up warm, come along and enjoy the wintery wonderland.”
Booking for this walk is not necessary, to take part just meet the group at the Gulf garage on New Edinburgh Road next to Fallside Park at 1.30pm.
