WISHAW General Hospital’s radio station, Radio Law, would like to thank those who supported their recent fundraising ventures.

The sum of £479 was raised during the annual raffle. The group thank Celtic, Motherwell and Rangers football clubs who donated prizes along with local businesses M&D’s, Welch Chemist, Factory Shop, Bentley Hotel, Popinjay Hotel, Tesco, Wishaw Golf Club, Chapman, Tunnocks, New Lanark, Handbags and Gladrags, Moorings Hotel and Build a Bear.

The money raised will help maintain the service to the patients of Wishaw General.

Radio Law would also like to thank the staff, management and shoppers of the Motherwell branch of Lidl’s for allowing volunteers to collect in the store on Saturday, January 5. The amount of £129 was raised.

Aside from fundraising, Radio Law members also visited the hospital wards over the festive season to deliver a gift to every patient.

All adults got a box of Tunnocks products while the children received selection boxes.

The group thank the hospital management for allowing access to the wards.
