Musical siblings raise funds by blowing their own trumpets

KIND-hearted brother and sister Kevin (12) and Louise (14) Donnelly recently played Christmas carols on their trumpets at a Glasgow shopping centre to raise money for St Andrew’s Hospice in memory of their aunt Angie Reilly.

The Cardinal Newman High School pupils raised £262 for the charity during their performance at Glasgow Fort.

The pair learn their trumpets through their school and are both members of North Lanarkshire Schools Band.

They would like to thank the manager of the Glasgow Fort Phil Goodman for his support and help on the day, and the shoppers who were very generous in their donations.
