Megan has Gok the X-Factor

THERE is a new judge on this year's X-Factor - and it's Twitter.

From members of the public expressing their opinion to A-list stars tweeting their expertise, the social networking site seems to be a forum for everything X-Factor.

And it has helped a New Stevenston teenager win a VIP access all areas visit to the show.

Megan Taylor (16) visited the ITV studios where the show is produced on Saturday, October 23, to cheer on her favourite - the now evicted John Adeleye.

Her once in a lifetime trip came about after she read a tweet encouraging fans of John to drum up as much support for him as possible - and the best tweeter would win a special prize.

The Taylor High pupil took her mum Adele Keegans down to London to sit in the live audience, on the very week John was booted out of the contest.

Megan said: "I thought he was fantastic on the night especially sitting in the live audience as you hear it so much better than on TV.

"I felt it was very unfair that the judges did not comment on his singing."

"I met all sorts of people including Gok Wan. But the boys from One Direction and Aiden Grimshaw were so nice to me. I spoke away to them and they were fantastic."
