Band is real tribute to Fab Four
TWO Bellshill musicians are earning rave reviews performaing in a group that has a growing reputation as the country's top Beatles tribute band.
Grahame Critcher and Craig McGown are part of Them Beatles, who are just about to embark on a national theatre tour to take the legendary sounds and appearance of the 'Fab Four' around the country.
And they warmed up for the tour on home ground last week when they played a special local gig at the Joker Bar in Mossend.
Grahame and Craig play the roles of Ringo Starr and George Harrison respectively and are joined on stage by Clark Gilmour (John Lennon) and Joe Kane (Paul McCartney), both from Glasgow.
Craig said: "Things have really taken off for us in the last few months and we have always wanted to develop the band into producing a theatre show.
"We wanted to arrange a local performance as a warm up to the show and to have a chance to play one last time to our 'home' supporters before we head off on the tour."
