MOST people would never dream of changing their careers - the risks involved and the courage it takes is not for the faint-hearted.
But a New Stevenston man who switched from pulling pints to styling hair is proof that changing your career is a risk worth taking. For John O’Hara is set to become one of the brightest stars in the world of hairdressing.

John has become a familiar name with beauty giants L’Oreal because of his success in the UK Skills Hairdressing Awards - which is a competition it organises. This year John received a gold award and last year, he was given a commendation for his work in the contest.
But the real prize for him is moving to London to become a member of the L’Oreal styling team.
