It’s a dogs day out in the park

DOG lovers and their four-legged friends are being invited to go along to a fun filled day out at Strathclyde Park on Saturday, October 13 - and help raise some much-needed funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.

The ‘Dogs Day Out’ event – sponsored by Integrated Water Services - will take place at the Bothwell side of the park from 9am onwards.

Attractions will include musical, an agility competition, free dog chipping, fly ball, dancing, various stalls such as home baking, cuddly toys and tombola and prizes for dogs in various categories, including best recall, dog most like their owner and dog with the waggiest tail.

There will also be a sponsored 6K walk around the loch from 10am with each walker receiving a medal on finishing.
