A GROUP of scientists discover that life on Earth was created by beings from another planet in Prometheus, out now at the Showcase in Bargeddie.

Inspired by Erich von Däniken’s writings about ancient astronauts, director Ridley Scott returns to the Alien ‘universe’ for the first time since the 1979 original.

Backed by Weyland-Yutani, the team journey through the universe on the spaceship ‘Prometheus’ on a voyage to investigate alien life forms.

They become stranded on an alien world, and as they struggle to survive it becomes clear that the horrors they experience are not just a threat to themselves, but to all of mankind.

Every week the Times & Speaker has two pairs of tickets to the Showcase at Barrbridge Leisure Centre to give away to see any film of your choice.

For entry details see May 30 edition of Times & Speaker.
