There’s something for all ages and interests in the run up to the festive season at Motherwell Heritage Centre every Saturday from 10am-4pm.
In honour of Armistice Day this Saturday there will be photographs and objects on display from the two World Wars.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about some of the documents in the collection and an explanationn about their importance to local people.
On Saturday, November 19, there will be a display of photos and maps to allow visitors to learn how the local area has changed over the last 200 years.
Try out the beer goggles and some other hands-on activities to find out in a fun and interactive way about the dangers of drinking too much on Saturday, November 26.
All three exhbitions are free but under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
The festive crafts programme for kids takes place next month with 3D Christmas decorations on Saturday, December 3, Christmas treat bags on Saturday, December 10, and hanging baubles on Saturday, December 17, with each workshop costing £1.
