PROFESSIONAL wrestling arrives in Motherwell on Saturday as the second half of the Scottish Wrestling Alliance’s New Testament double header is at St Bride’s Hall.
Topping the bill is local wrestler John ‘The Bomb’ Graham as he joins Weapons of Mass Destruction partner Nathan Black to defend their newly won unified Scottish National Tag Team titles.
WMD take on the experienced duo of T2K, Wolfgang and James Scott, who are sure to provide a tough test.
Graham said: “ T2K are one of the most successful duos in Scottish wrestling history and we are delighted to have the opportunity to take them on for the first time.
“It is always good to take on new teams and we’ve been looking to face them for a while. Wolfgang and James Scott have been concentrating on their singles careers of late, but they have real pedigree behind them so will be a difficult challenge.”
Also on the card will be ‘The Surprise Package’ Andy Anderson defending the NWA Scottish Heavyweight title against Jack Jester, providing he successfully holds of the challenge of Whiplash in the Govan the night before.
Joe Coffey will try to hold on to his SWA Laird of the Ring title against Jack Gallagher prior to heading off to work for the Zero 1 promotion in Japan for eight weeks.
Dickie Divers meets Mark Anthony and Motherwell’s own Fiona Fraser is set to be in action in the women’s division.
Doors open at 6.30pm with the first bell at 7pm.
Tickets costing £12 adult, £10 children and £30 family, are available from G-Force Games in Muir Street.
