SCOTLAND’S largest dance music promoters Colours has teamed up with Stereofunk to bring a brand new event to Strathclyde Park next month.
Party in the Park on Saturday, September 8, brings together some of clublands top names as Colours vs Stereofunk, Full on Ferry, We Love and STREETrave all host a special arenas, plus there is also an outdoor stage.
Arena 1 is all about big house, hosted by Colours vs Stereofunk. Colours have been bringing world class DJs to Scotland for over 17 years and Stereofunk events have been responsible for some good times at Strathclyde Park over the years.
The line up is the perfect bill to represent both brands with one of the world’s top DJs and producers, Sander Van Hoorn, headlining the event. Some people call Sander a technical and musical genius, and he has cranked out more dance floor destroyers, sold-out gigs, number one records, and awards than most artists do in a lifetime.
The unpredictable Showtek will join SVH in this arena having recently started a project called ‘Showtek presents: Crazy Collabs’ which sees them produce tracks with artists such as Tiësto and Hardwell.
Able support is provided by R3hab, Swanky Tunes, Deniz Koyu And Felix Leiter, all make their Scottish and Colours debuts, while Colours resident Jon Mancini and Stereofunk boys Kelman and Lennon will also be giving sets.
Arena 2 is brought to you by trance brand Full On Ferry, set up by Ferry Corsten to put on the most sublime trance line-ups out there.
Joining him will be Aly and Fila, W&W, Marcus Schossow, Ummet Ozcan, Shogun, Jordan Suckley, David Forbes And William Daniel.
Arena 3 is for techno and will be hosted by Ibiza super brand We Love.
Electronic icon Carl Craig will co-headline, being a world class DJ, as well as a Grammy nominated composer, with original house gangster DJ Sneak and technical master James Zabiela.
Legendary Scottish DJs Slam return to Strathclyde Park after a 20-year absence, plus there is also sets from Animal Farm, Giovanni Ferri and Andy Raeside.
Arena 4 comes from the brand that started it all in Scotland 23 years ago, Sound of STREETrave capturing the golden-era of dance music from 1989 onwards. Hosted by MC Hooligan X, Inner City will perform live on the day having found fame with hits such as ‘Good Life’ with Graeme Park, CJ Mackintosh, Allister Whitehead, Jon Mancini and Iain ‘Boney’ Clark.
Party In The Park wouldn’t be complete without an outdoor stage bringing together some of Scotland’s best talent.
Headlining is the country’s number one DJ Mallorca Lee supported by the adaptable Michael Paterson and completing the line up is stars of the future such as Craig Wilson, Ian McNab, Brian Anderson and Jamie Murray.
Party In The Park runs from noon to 10.30pm.
