WHEN faced with illness a lot of people can let their whole world collapse.

But a Lanarkshire mum - with a lot of help from her daughters - has done the complete opposite and turned her health misfortunes into a successful family business.

Ruby and Rose Jewellery is the brainchild of Wishaw mum Marion Patterson (53) and her daughter Emily (28), from Bellshill.

The company was set up after Marion took up jewellery making as a hobby after being diagnosed with the rare condition dystonia when she was in her 40s.
