AFTER weeks of campaigning by candidates and more than 100 entries, the public has cast its vote and chosen the new faces of Motherwell College 2012-2013.
Tracy Cox, Lauren Macaulay, Blair Robertson and Reece Anderson proved an internet hit with viewers watching their promotional videos online via the college’s official YouTube site.
Sixteen finalists battled it out and the four lucky students will star across the college’s official advertising campaigns, which will be rotated throughout the year.
Tracy, who received the highest number of votes, said: “I’m thrilled to have won the public vote and looking forward to seeing the results around campus.
“It’s not every day you get to be involved in something like this and I’m delighted to join in and help promote our college.”
Each winner will be given a professional makeover and be pictured by award-winning photographer Gordon Burniston as well as receiving a Kindle Touch.
Marketing and promotions manager Lisa Parr said: “We have an abundance of talent here and what better way to promote the college than to feature students themselves.
“We look forward to seeing the results of our four new faces around campus when they are revealed early in 2013.”
