A MOTHERWELL woman got an early Christmas present after attending the Girls’ Day Out show at the SECC, Glasgow.

Louise Kerrigan (25) was stunned by a phone call from event organiser Tom Lovering telling her she was the winner of a brand new Peugeot 107 from Taggarts Motor Group.

And she got another surprise when one of the hunky ‘butlers’ from the show was there to hand over the keys.

All 15,000 attendees at the fashion and beauty event were automatically entered into a prize draw to the win the car which Louise picked up at Taggarts Peugeot in Motherwell.

She said: “I cannot believe I have won a car. I have never won anything before. I recently started college and had to give up my car so this has come at a perfect time. It means so much to my daughter, Ashlyn, and me.”
