Autumn is a magical time

ENJOY some autumn magic at RSPB Scotland’s Baron’s Haugh nature reserve in Motherwell exploring the natural world around you.

On Wednesday, October 17, from 2-4pm, there will be a Big Bug Hunt.

With mountains of dead leaves building up, autumn is a great time of year to find all kinds of fascinating wee creatures out there that scuttle, wriggle and flutter. The season will then be explored further at the Autumn Colours event on Sunday, October 21, from 10.30am–12.30pm.

Each event meets in the RSPB car park in Manse Road and costs £2 for adult and £1 for children (free to RSPB members) and under 16s should be accompanied by an adult.

Places are limited, so call Stephen on 07872 814 911 or e-mail baronshaugh@rspb.org.uk.
