ALBA Photographic Society is holding its annual photographic exhibition in Wishaw Library until Saturday, September 7.
Members visited the library early on Saturday morning to set up the display of 14 panels, containing up to 10 images on each taken by 14 different members.
The club’s Rob Niven said: “Thanks to all the members who produced their images and to the members who willingly gave up their Saturday morning to mount the exhibition.
“This is a great testament to the membership as they wanted to perform this task, which was not so easy as they had to select images then have them printed and mounted on the panels.
“We are a small club and this represented way over half the membership who did this, which shows the commitment and enthusiasm of the members.
“I have to say that once the exhibition was in place and I was able to stand back and have a good look at the display I was very impress, but then I am biased.
“I would also like to thank the library staff for their forbearance, friendliness and advice.”
Alba opens for the new season on Wednesday, September 5, at 7.30pm in Netherton Community Centre.
