Having had my 60th birthday dinner at this hotel i and 3 others in the group were very dissapointed with the service and the food ...Table not ready although it was pre booked several weeks before poor service ...and to cap it all a drunk wandered into eating area dishing out lollypops that were taken from jar in the bar, not a birthday dinner i had in mind

Capos has a nice restaurant. The food is fairly standard pub food, however they do seem to be trying to make it a bit special (a stawberry and black pudding salad anyone?). It has recently been refurbished so it looks nice and also has a new beer garden.

I have been for lunch and dinner at Capo’s and both are very good.
The lunch does not have a lot of choice, just what you would expect for a typical pub lunch ie, toasties, baked potatoes etc.
The dinner menu has much more to choose from and I would recommend the steak with pepper sauce which is lovely!
The staff are always happy to help and one member of staff remembered us even though we had only been once before about a month ago! I was quite impressed as this is a busy restaurant at weekends.
There is a pub next door to the restaurant which has nice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.
