Take the bull by the horns and adopt Lily
EVERY week the Times & Speaker teams up with the Scottish SPCA in a bid to rehome a pet.
And this week is the turn of Lily, who is being looked after at the charity’s Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.
Lorraine Alba, assistant manager at the centre, said: “Lily is a lovely English bull terrier aged five years old.
“She came to the centre after being found as a stray and unfortunately we have been unable to reunite her with her owner.
“Lily is a really friendly little lady who will make a wonderful addition to someone’s family.
“She would suit a household with older children but would equally make a great companion for a couple or person living on their own.
“Lily would love an owner who will enjoy spending time training her and helping her flourish into a model canine citizen.”
If you can give Lily a loving home, please call the SSPCA Animal Helpline 03000 999 999, quoting ref Motherwell Times.
The Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, on Bothwell Road, is open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
