OVER 150 children piled into the Centenary Suite at Fir Park Stadium at the weekend for the annual Les Hoey Christmas party.

Wishaw man Les takes on the mammoth task of organising the event every year for children with life-limiting illnesses.

Les has built up contacts with Yorkhill children’s hospital over the years and invites youngsters receiving treatment there, as well as their siblings, to enjoy the special day.

As well as a range of party games and activities, the kids left Sunday’s party with gifts such as games consoles, bikes, TVs and laptops.
