Firpark School
FOND FAREWELL . . . sixth year pupils from Firpark School with headteacher John Morley at the annual prom for ASN schools which was held at Dalziel Park.
SIXTH year pupils at Firpark School did a great job in successfully organising the annual prom for Additional Support Needs schools in Lanarkshire and beyond.
The venue was Dalziel Park where school captain Ross Johnstone welcomed the other nine schools and thanked those firms that had so kindly donated items for the evening.
In particular he thanked Inspiradiation for the beautiful balloon arrangements for each table and the entrance hall, Tunnock’s of Uddingston for their delicious caramel wafers and Lees of Coatbridge for their tasty macaroon bars and tablet.
He then introduced fellow school captain Leona Fleming who raised a cheer for each individual school before saying Grace.
It was a most memorable evening which provided a fine farewell to the leavers and all at Firpark wish them the best of luck.
