Braidhurst High
WELL DONE . . . Braidhurst High Dux Maxine Mukunga and Proxime Accessit Samuel Davies are congratulated on their awards.
THE annual Braidhurst High prizegiving will take place on Thursday, June 28 - the last day of term.
Principal guests will be former rector Jack Gallacher, ex-member of staff and adult choir leader Christine Johnston and longest serving member of staff Tom Paterson, along with rector Derrick Hannan’s wife Madeleine.
The main award of school dux will go to 16-year-old Maxine Mukunga with 17-year-old Samuel Davies as Proxime Accessit.
Staff and pupils were recently delighted to find out that Maxine and Samuel have been selected from a very able group of fifth year students.
Maxine has also been chosen to attend the University of Oxford’s summer school.
